Dr. Bohne Silber is a licensed psychologist, certified couples therapist, and marriage counselor. Her practice is limited to couples therapy. Dr. Silber is trained in Imago Relationship Therapy, Gottman Therapy Levels I and II, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Sex Therapy.

During COVID, Dr. Silber gave up her office space in Columbia, Maryland. All appointments are now virtual.
Dr. Silber typically sees clients on Wednesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm. She can be reached outside these hours in case of emergency or urgent situation.
At this time, Dr. Silber is accepting only private-pay clients.
Dr. Silber's practice is limited to daytime hours, although she will see an existing couple outside of normal offices hours if the need arises.
She is happy to provide a receipt so you can apply for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.
A session is 50 minutes.
Yes, this is allowed since some couples find it's the only way to make couples counseling practical.
Yes. She has extensive experience working with same-sex couples.
She does not see individuals for therapy. However, on occasion she'll meet with each partner individually as part of couples therapy.
